Se trouvant en prison pour un petit délit, Bruno Wynckler, un comédien, se trouve mêlé dans l'évasion d'un truand. Sous les balles, Lorca, un maton, est blessé. Il tiendra Bruno pour responsable de son infirmité. Condamné à deux ans de prison, Bruno se retrouve dans la prison de Lorca et il en devient la proie.
