When her husband Rosendo suddenly begins exhibiting strange behavior, Lucía learns that the beloved patriarch of the Cuevas family is showing early signs of Alzheimer’s. Discovering that music might help delay the disease’s progression, the Cuevas’ come together to form a mariachi band – including Rosendo’s estranged brother Jorge “Gavilán”, who quickly leverages the story to expose decades of deeply buried family secrets in hopes of bolstering his solo career.
